Well, I'm back. Sorry it took so long; I was so busy with school, but now I'm out!
This is the pre-final for my 2-D design class. We pick certain colors to create a color system. After, we figure out where the color is compared to the greyscale, then add chromatic black or white depending on where it is. These colors are then used for the final. My blue at the end sucks >.< The other side is an abstract grayscale picture of an ice cream scoop.  Time: 6-8 hours. Medium: Liquitex soft body acrylic paint and Cresent illustration board. Comments

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 18h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. |
